We had just about a perfect day for Halloween. The sun was shining for Christian's soccer game, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) took a nap in the afternoon and it wasn't too blustery and cold when we finally headed out for our trick-or-treating. Ashi caught on quickly to pull the candy bowls down to his level, pick out a piece and put it in their spider basket. Christian was convinced that everyone was giving them more candy because they were together- and he might have been right. Whenever someone would drop a handful into the bag then ask where Ashi's bag was Christian would announce, "we're sharing a bag." And I swear they would all take an even bigger handful when they replied, "oh, well then here you go!" and load them up again.
Christian was a hoot. He kept saying, "I'm so impressed! Our neighbors are really spoiling us! Mom, aren't you so impressed?"
When we finally got home after a few hours at Sandi and Asher's for their party, where we got loaded up with even more candy, Christian just HAD to sort it all out before bed. Everything stacked neatly by type. Yep, he gets that from his OCD mom :)
