Our best crew came on over for brunch and cake this morning. It was a wild bunch, and we love them all very much.
The kids getting ready for presents after brunch, Ashi was way more interested in Jackson's sunglasses than any sort of unwrapping to be done.
But the Sit-n-spin is sure to be a hit around here. It was so nice to have Mr. Jim around to assemble everything on demand for instant gratification.
Outside to test out some new toys.
This was gross. Mama thought it was candy- but no. Blood. Yucky yucky six-year-olds and their wiggly teeth falling out all over the place.
And back inside for some cake. I'm sure someone will send me a photo of blowing out the candle. Ashi was not so sure about his own little cake. He liked pulling out the noodles, but really had no intention of poking his fingers into the cake itself.
A fork helped a little. 
But really, he just wanted a cupcake like everyone else.
Big brother tried to show him how to do it.
And hopefully Elizabeth will send me the photo of what happened next.

I love your lion cake! I'd love to make one for when Avianna has her 2nd birthday (April. Did you use Chinese noodles for the lion's mane? Will you share how to with us?
