So what does a six-year-old boy choose for someone so special? What is the one gift that lets his special teacher know how much she is appreciated?
That would be a bundle of kindling.
Because kindling is so great! You can build fires with it! Everyone should have some kindling!

His heart is on fire for her.... consider changing teachers before it's too late, wait no! Don't change! If you want him to eat more green vegetables tell her to tell him that she eats them... that should work in your favor....
