Forgotten Fotos

It's been mighty chilly this week, definately feeling fallish. I walked to the bank on my lunch and nearly turned back, if the sun hadn't been out I would have. It was COLD. So a perfect day for some forgotten photos from summer.

These are from an afternoon at the lake in August sometime. That's my mom and C paddling the inner tube off to the bushes for a potty break. If you've met C in real life, you know that he volunteers to accompany everyone on their potty breaks. He's like a wild dog, always looking to mark some territory.

And here they are, returning victoriously a little while later.

It was a lot more comical when the two of them were stuffed in the little old inner tube on their maiden voyage, but I can't find those photos right now. Mom of course refuses to wear her swimsuit, then has to perch herself atop the tube (with 50lbs of wiggling company) and try not to get wet. Needless to say, there isn't much pity when it inevitably happens.

And below is my very studdly big sis. Can you believe she hasn't done this is like 5 years? Not bad. C kept trying to get me out there, but I haven't done it in more like 10 years and the water was just way too cold to keep landing in.
Here's C on his own little adventure to the beach. This is when we learned that the emergency paddles don't float. Hmm, that seems like a good idea. The emergency paddles, for when you're already screwed, fill up with water and sink to the bottom. Luckily they do it slowly. Of course Handy Grammy will fix that with her can of super expando foam. (It's like her secret obsession to fix all the junk that comes from Walmart, it gives her an excuse to shop there).

And last but not least, yet another photo of C asleep. Some of you are going to start wondering about me because I post so many photos of him sleeping. But this kid sleeps like a rock through ANYTHING! One minute he's complaining about being cold and wet, and the next thing we know he's asleep in a puddle on the floor. Go figure.
