Doesn't This Look Fun?

It was. About three weeks ago when these pictures were taken. My lovely family chickened out due to the grey skies and less than (bathing) suitable weather today. Wimps! That's what the wet suits are for. Even C has a wetsuit, his skinny little chicken legs kind of dangle out the bottom, but it's something.
This is the new tube my parents bought for C. They thought it would be a lot safer, and I agree. It has a nicely padded base, a big deep interior, latex lined grips, and a backrest. Seriously, a backrest! It's like the Lazy boy of inner tubes.
Unfortunately the boat broke down not long after we headed out. So we settled for some king of the mountain and swimming and luckily didn't have to row back to the dock.
